You know, while I consider myself an Obama supporter at this point, I've tried very hard to just keep looking at this election with an open mind so far. There are positives about all three of these major candidates left at this juncture and I wanted to keep the positives about Hillary in mind. But I couldn't shake my distaste for her campaign going negative on Obama, especially the early juncture at which she decided to do it. It just came across as such an obvious attempt to slow him down rather than genuine concern for his abilities to do the job in question. I'm not happy to see Obama going this direction now, but Hillary has no one to blame but herself for this. She opened this can of worms. I can understand why Obama sees this as an acceptable and reasonable course of action at this point. I've actually been impressed that he's not attacked back before this! I think this is shaping up to be an interesting race, but I'm none to pleased that YET AGAIN we voters have to sit through smear campaigning and tear-down tactics from the candidates rather than hear them each honestly discuss policy points. It turns our candidates into talking heads instead of honest leaders.

I think Hillary was put in a position where she had to attack. The media was completely ignoring Barack's change message without detail. He was getting a free ride and that free ride would have stopped in the real election. All of the stones Hillary is overturning to show the dirt on Barack would happen...she is just showing Democrats his weaknesses so the decision is made with all the facts. I live in Illinois and Barack is untarnished because he stands for nothing. Nothing sticks to him because there is nothing attempted or accomplished.

I am glad she is digging up the dirt, just imagine this stuff coming up in October instead of now.

You are right her days of reckoning are at hand. Soon enough she will come face to face with her own duplicity which untill now her weak-minded supporters have been fraudulantly sold on.

The chinks in her armor are showing more every day. Her complicit allies in the media are being called to task for their lack of objectivity. Her refusal to release the Healthcare task force records and other records demonstrates her unfitness for command. Hillary is a 60's era socialist hell bent on creating a Western-European government that will bankrupt this country.

I enjoyed reading your comments on the mediocrity of the U.S policy in Iraq. Your insightful take points to the social dynamics as well as the co-orelation of forces on Iraqi politics.
